Biography
My name is Maryam Iqbal, and I have completed my PhD studies in Biochemistry at Abdul Wali Khan University, KP, Pakistan in March 2023. My PhD research focused on the "Combinatorial Therapeutic Potential of Stem Cells and New Chemical Entities for the Attenuation of Liver Fibrosis''. During my PhD, I visited National University of Singapore (NUS) for my phD research work. During my time at NUS, I gained experience in rat primary hepatocytes culturing and trained in various techniques, including screening of different compounds for liver fibrosis, isolation and culturing of hepatocyte cells and Mesenchymal stem cells, immunohistostaining, confocal microscopy, and fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS). I have Published 15 Research Articles
